The Santa Barbara Foundation’s EconAlliance Workforce Grant requires participants to be 18 years or older and have been English Language Learners at any point in their educational journey. “Julie Assaf has been working with Restoration Masters LLC as a Bookkeeper Intern for the past two months, and her impact has been nothing short of remarkable,” adds Mendoza.
“From the very beginning, Julie stepped into her role with energy, focus, and a strong sense of purpose, quickly becoming an essential part of our team. Julie brings not only diligence and accuracy to her bookkeeping work, but also a thoughtful and strategic mindset.

Attention to Detail
“She asks meaningful questions, challenges us to look at things from new perspectives, and has directly contributed to developing stronger processes and reducing a portion of our production backlog.”Her quick thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn have made her stand out in ways that go far beyond her short time with us. Julie consistently demonstrates initiative, creativity, and a genuine commitment to excellence. Beyond her technical contributions, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and her positive attitude adds to the supportive and collaborative culture we value at Restoration Masters.
We wholeheartedly recommend the Econ Alliance intern program and are especially grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Julie. She is a bright, talented, and dedicated professional who has already proven to be invaluable to our organization, and we are confident she has a very bright future ahead.”
