Northern Santa Barbara County entrepreneurs and small businesses recently participated in Verizon’s Small Business Forward October event, held in Solvang in partnership with EconAlliance.

The Event provided information about the company’s Digital Ready and Small Business Supplier Accelerator programs (the latter a $5B, 5-yr investment to open supplier opportunities for small businesses ready to scale). Small Business Digital Ready, Verizon’s personalized learning platform with 1:1 coaching, features tips from small business owners, expert-led workshops, incentives and grants, and peer networking – all free to small businesses!

The event high point was a contract acquisition workshop by internationally recognized small business expert Twyla Garrett, successful developer, defense contractor, serial entrepreneur, and visionary. An amazing role model with holdings on two continents, Garrett founded the nonprofit Impact League to coach and mentor small business owners on developing a wealth-building mindset.
