Message from New EconAlliance Board President

As you know, EconAlliance is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to:
“Build awareness, advocacy, support and appreciation for Northern Santa Barbara County key industries and communities”
Through our industry initiatives, EconAlliance provides a voice and serves as a champion for North County Agriculture, Wine/Tourism, Manufacturing, Energy, Healthcare, Space Enterprise and Development/Construction/Real Estate.
Outgoing President Sam Cohen, Government & Public Affairs Specialist, Santa Ynez Band of Chumash, resigned this fall to take a position out of the area. We thank him for nearly three years of service to EconAlliance as Board President, and for supporting the planning for most of 2025:

- 5th Annual Cross-Industry Golf Tournament

- Placement of 90 paid interns free to employers
- Foster/homeless youth career-building project
- Broadband gap monitoring
- Industry advocacy
As new Board President, I ask that you continue or consider supporting EconAlliance and our North County efforts. Please join us for the 2026 EconAlliance activities already scheduled, and those still to come.
