Cross-Sector Activities

Project description
Innovation / Entrepreneurship
EconAlliance’s Support Initiatives recognize that no industry thrives without strong foundations and an enabling environment. Because EconAlliance’s work spans industry sectors, it places us in a unique position to recognize, understand, and propose solutions that apply to all.
Key activities of EconAlliance that support entrepreneurship include our Annual Future Forum. Through this flagship activity for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we not only bring “big view” information to local stakeholders, we also recognize and award an entrepreneurial venture to inspire regional innovation.
Companies/organizations may nominate themselves, and nominee must have a “presence” or significant economic impact in Northern Santa Barbara County. There is no limitation on what may be considered an innovation and eligible for nomination. The innovation can be anything such as a device, process, concept, operation, computer program, etc.
Nominations will be evaluated based on the following three criteria: Innovation, Value, Impact
